THE ALL-NEW ATLANTIS 35
The Atlantis family extends to include the Atlantis 35 sport cruiser boat, the entry-level model of the range. Designed by the American architect Michael Peters, already the designer of the Atlantis 39, a good deal of her strong personality has been inherited from her larger sister.
The layout of the cockpit is both comfortable and functional, and her fittings leave nothing to envy of larger vessels. This is, in fact, the challenge launched by Atlantis 35: elegance and liveability are not a question of size.
Nothing has been compromised inside either. Most models of this size offer owners a transformable dinette, and in more successful designs, a separate cabin with a diagonally positioned bed along a wall.
Not on Atlantis: the master cabin is to fore and the bed positioned centrally, as on larger vessels. Privacy and comfort are in no way optional on an Atlantis yacht - they are guaranteed - as is style (refined and linear), performance and structural quality, thanks to the construction and design solutions adopted by the Atlantis shipyard from the Azimut Group.
However, the jewel of the Atlantis 35 is the roof of the cockpit: just like the hood on a sports car, the roof of the cockpit is completely integrated with the fibreglass superstructure and fans out over the cockpit at the press of a button in just 20 seconds!
Atlantis 35 will be one of this season's greatest stars. Don't call her "small"!
